In this talk, Dr. Zhen Bai will share her research journey creating technologies that enable inclusive learning for people with diverse needs and backgrounds, and how her research is motivated and fulfilled through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Zhen Bai is an Assistant Professor co-leading the ROCHCI research group at Department of Computer Science, University of Rochester. Zhen’s research focuses on creating playful and adaptive learning technologies using Augmented Reality, Embodied Conversational Agent, and Tangible User Interface. Zhen is the recipient of the Google Inclusion Research Award, the Google exploreCSR Award in supporting inclusive undergraduate research in computing, and the co-PI of the NSF interdisciplinary graduate training program for Augmented and Virtual Reality.
