Explanatory videos of projects developed in the 2020 class of entrepreneurial thinking taught to all freshman engineering students at Stevens Institute of Technology are highlighted below. The overall objective of the course is to provide students with a new way of problem solving—entrepreneurial thinking – which is a process of finding the unique fit between a real-world problem and a new solution. The class began with students choosing a problem that they felt would be worthwhile to solve - something that really bothered them (ex: being able to secure rental property in Hoboken when you are an international student with no credit credentials, understanding the amount you owe and payment requirements on your educational loans, etc.) However, in mid-February, because of the pandemic the student were given a choice to pivot to a Covid-19 project. So, you will find a mix of “original” and Covid-19” projects. Please enjoy the videos and see the labors of the student’s hard work.
